Sport Job Offer – Relevent Sports Group is seeking a Manager of Partnership Activation

Overview
LALIGA North America is a joint venture between LALIGA, Spain’s top-flight soccer competition, and Relevent Sports, a multinational media, sports and entertainment group, focused on promoting soccer in the U.S. and Canada and fuelling the league’s growth in the region through multi-platform content, consumer activations, grassroots soccer initiatives, exhibition matches, and more.
LALIGA North America is searching for a Manager of Partnership Activation. The role is an important member of LALIGA North America’s partnerships team, who will work hand in hand with brand partners, and support with partner relationships and activations. The role requires a passion for partnership ideation, strong interpersonal skills, and organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Interfacing with current brand partners through daily / weekly / bi-weekly touchpoints ensuring all partnership elements are delivered to partner standards.
- Execution of all assigned partners contractual elements, including traditional media assets, digital and social platforms, in-stadium activation, hospitality, experiential, merchandising, and other custom LALIGA programs.
- Liaise between the partnerships team and the broader LALIGA business units: Marketing Partnerships, Operations, Events and Fan Engagement, Legal, Marketing, etc.
- Work with the sponsorships team on season recaps and partnership kickoff materials.
- Managing project timelines and processes for multiple prospective brand partnerships.
- Ability to create presentations using tools like PowerPoint and involve manipulating graphics, inserting high quality illustration.
- Facilitating cross-functional brainstorm / ideation sessions.
- Identify synergies and provide strategic solutions between LALIGA North America and the brand partner.
- Maintaining an up-to-date status report of all partner deliverables and costs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brand partners.
- Ability to travel within the U.S. and Spain.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in the sports, marketing, sponsorship landscape.
- Able to handle multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills. Must be a clear, concise, strong writer.
- Ability to think strategically, creatively and proactively.
- Attention to detail and well organized.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sports industry, global and domestic soccer knowledge is preferred.
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000
